A door on a houseboat in Sausalito is knocked. Alan answers and receives an introduction.
"Hello. My name is Joe Smith."
"Really?" Alan laughs. "What a funny way you've come on today. Who are you really?"
"... I am Joe Smith. I'm from Minnesota -"
"Oh come off it."
"I'm sorry, have we met - "
"Shiva, I recognize you."
At once it is Shiva indeed. "How did you know it was me?"
"Because it is always you." Alan gestures towards his accommodations. "Would you like to come in?"
"No, thank you," replies Shiva. "I think I'll go about and play a bit more."
"See you tomorrow then."
